After our New Year’s Day visit to the O2 Academy in Brixton for the last SuperMartXé outing, it was strange to think we hadn’t experienced the Spanish behemoth in its original home, The Coronet, since the first birthday last November, almost three months ago!

That must have been something to do with why the club was bubblin’ over with virtually every lickable Latino with or without an immigration visa and a whole heap of other gay Brits, too. In a little over a year, Super’s gone and positioned itself as one of the premier gay house-music based club nights in town, with every event causing the gays to flock to Covent Garden for a new disco vest whenever its on.

Inside, the club stage looked grandiose dressed in a sensational Japanese scene as red-lit lanterns hung over the dancefloor. Drag geishas, gogo ninjas and East Asian entertainers danced, jived and jiggled to a baying crowd of T.O.T.O. (tops off tits out) queens. The place was throbbing with men in every crevice, spilling them into every inch of the club to create one big melting pot of gayness. Delicious!

We tell you it was so busy we’re sure we saw a few people giving their mates piggy-backs to get to the bar! The music was markedly improved on previous sessions, with hunky Hugo Sanchez delivering a decent set backed-up ably by expert Londoners Steve Pitron and Tony English.

Bring on Super’s next session at Easter week.

Press Release
After rocking Brixton Academy on New Years Day, Logan Presents is back and ready for action with our first party at home in the Coronet Theatre of 2010! Grab some chopsticks, stock up on ping pong balls and join us as we take a trip to the Far East with… SuperMartXé SAMURAI.

Excessive production, sexed up glamour, an electric party vibe and pumping Spanish house beats made SuperMartXé London the talk of the town in 2009. Now back bigger than ever, SuperMartXé London returns to The Coronet Theatre on Saturday 27th February 2010 bringing the magic of the Far East to South East 1!

Joining us from Madrid, the delectable Hugo ‘Soy Sauce’ Sanchez leads our musical journey, with support from Steve ‘Ping Pong” Pitron getting the dance floor pumping, and a fantastic finale from Mr Tony ‘Crouching Tiger’ English. These 3 legends on the decks are guaranteed to have the dance floor packed until the sun rises in the East. Room 2 is once again in the capable hands of our very own Karate Kid, DJ Marlon K Jones from SuperMartXe Amsterdam.

Bringing true Asian Spice to the proceedings will be some fantastic live PA’s and performances… we’re keeping details up our kimono sleeves until the night but expect some Lions and Dragons and Geishas (oh my!) With all of the dazzling over-the-top production, pyrotechnics and effects that you have come to expect from Logan Presents, this is one party you will not want to miss…
